This is Race track # 2 made from left over project materials from the last 10 years. I cut left over material into 2 1/2 , 2 & 1 1/2 inches. I sew the 2 & 1 1/2 together and trimmed to 2 1/2. Then sewed the strips end to end in no order. Took the Beginning end and pulled it though the house to the last end and sewed the length. Cut and repeated until I had a piece rather long but only 45 inches wide. I cut the length in two pieces and added red border to one, posted a few day ago. This one has a black border and I used a printed scrappy design in Christmas for the back and the trim. I love these and will be another donated to the Rehab Veterans nearby us.

My 2 year old nephew is about to become a big brother, so he needed a big boy quilt. His mom sent me a picture of him, wearing spiderman pjs, and rocking yellow rainboots. I took inspiration from that and created this quilt. I found a patter guideline on All People Quilt, and created red and yellow pinwheels. I then alternated them with the spiderman fabric I had found. I quilted it all over with a spiderweb pattern, that really sets off the pinwheels. I had enough fabric left over to make a matching pillowcase.

This is made from 10 years of scraps. I cut left over project material into 2 1/2 or 2 or 1 1/2 strips. And some into 5 or 2 1/2 squares. Or fat quarters sometimes. I had enough strips to make 2 quilts. 2nd not just quilted yet. Wil be a donation to VA rehab center. I sew the 2 inch and 1 1/2 inch strips together and trimmed to 2 1/2 to make seams even.
