    My niece, Holly, loves pink & gray. When I found My Gray or the Highway fabric collection I bought with her in mind. I used one of MSQC patterns to make her this quilt for her 8th grade graduation. It was quilted by Blue Willow in a pale shade of pink.

    Fell in love with this fabric line at the International Quilt Show and snatched it up. I thought my mom would love the soft colors. While I loved the fabric, she did not. Used the same quilt pattern as the Echoes quilt I posted earlier to make this quilt. Another early quilt I quilted myself.

    This is the 2nd quilt I ever made and quilted myself. It was made in 2015 on a rainy road trip with my husband. We stayed in Dauphin Island in AL for a month. It rained more that trip than I can remember. He watched TV & I sewed up my own little storm. I really liked this quilt and gave it to my sister for her birthday the following year.

    I wanted to make a table runner for our dining room table this past Christmas. With all the leaves in, the table is quite long so I did have to adjust the pattern to allow for the increase in length. I wanted to be able to use some yardage I had purchased several years ago for the backing so that the runner could be reversible. And to make the backing a little more interesting, I used metallic thread in the bobbin.

    Just building up my "stash" of baby quilts. This one finished up at 42 x 42. It is my mission that all new babies get a quilt for tummy time. I have belonged to an on-line group of women for 20+ years (back in the infancy of the internet). While the group of ladies is 'aging out' we have several babies born to women in the group each year. Making the aqua quilts keeps it more or less gender neutral and as a new mom, I always enjoyed baby gifts. So my mission is to supply baby quilts whether it is your 1st or or your 8th.     I made this simple quilt from charm packs. Then added some butterflies for interest. I backed it with flannel (first time that I’ve tried flannel) and did minimal quilting. My favorite part is the butterfly border. Here are a couple of pics. One is before I sewed on the binding, but it showS the butterfly border well.

    I think I have no noticeable mistakes on this one! I have made dozens of quilts and I get to the very end when I notice some error and don't want to take it apart, so I just give it away to someone. This one is special, and will stay with me until I give it to someone very special!

    I wanted to try the Jacob's Ladder Remix, but use different fabrics to see what happens. The unfinished blocks sat around for some time until there was a special wedding that needed a special quilt--inspiration meets perspiration! The saw tooth border was just the extra touch to make the quilt complete. Leftover blocks were a great way to add some fun to the back.
