Patriotic Fun

I was able to make this wall hanging from some leftover blocks from another quilt i made with the Yellow Brick Road pattern. I even had enough leftover fabric for the borders and backing. I especially love the quilting design.

Log Cabin Quilt

I had never made a log cabin quilt before and thoroughly enjoyed the simplicity of it. After reviewing design options, I settled on the fields and furrows layout. I used my favorite quilting method of simple straight lines on my home sewing machine. Although my quilting isn’t fancy, I enjoy the fact that I complete the project myself from start to finish.

Vintage Star

Crazy Quilt

While packing up to move, I found this almost finished quilt I made with 9 FQs; it needed a label and finishing of the binding. I embroidered a small design on each of the base blocks and played with my specialty stitches and coloured thread along each seam. It was made about 8 years ago and I’m quite sure it was a line from Red Rooster fabrics.
