These are a selection of runners made over a few years. These were made at the beginning of when I got back into sewing after a number of years of not making anything! Hard to believe now, as there are not many days I am not at my sewing machine. Inspiration came from MSQC and fabrics came from local shops as well as MSQC.

Saltwater Taffy

I wanted to try the Jacob's Ladder Remix, but use different fabrics to see what happens. The unfinished blocks sat around for some time until there was a special wedding that needed a special quilt--inspiration meets perspiration! The saw tooth border was just the extra touch to make the quilt complete. Leftover blocks were a great way to add some fun to the back.

Cottage Tulips (repost) unquilted top

Made from odds-and-ends fat quarters from my stash. I set the tulips together without sashing between the horizontal blocks. I used a partial seam method to stitch the appliqued borders to the quilt. When I edited my first posting to add info about the method, my entire posting disappeared. I will quilt this quilt sometime later this year.

Rainbow Taffy

I used the Candy Twist MSQ tutorial to make this quilt. The ribbon border was my own design. Economy of fabric was a motivating factor as I added background white and Crayola Fabric Roll solids to the charm packs given to me to make this charity quilt.
