    About 15 years ago I had the chance to visit the Bahamas with a friend. On a shopping trip to Nassau I came across batiks made in Androsia, an island in the Bahamas. Using a variety of colors and patterns that were available, I made this wall hanging. The piece was handquilted and embellished with various colors of pearl beads.
