Brian's Flannel Quilt
Around 1994 I took a beginning quilting class at The Quilt Patch, my local quilt shop. I was hooked! The first quilt I made was twin sized, made with flannel with a variety of blocks. The teacher let me use flannel only because I had taken an advanced sewing class with her and she said she thought I could handle flannel on my first quilt. Hindsight being what it is, I think I might have had an easier time of it had I not chosen flannel that first time! This is also when I learned that I had actually made a quilt 13 or so years earlier.
I hand quilted -- and this was my one and only hand quilted project. My son Brian still has and uses the quilt.
