South west cross quilt

I found some woven striped fabric at a mill end store. I used it to make some interesting wonky crosses. I made pillows a couple of months ago and now have completed the throw quilt. I used wool batting and green minky on the back. I watched a tutorial about continuous bias binding and it worked out perfectly. I think the binding is my favorite part of the quilt. ( the look, not the application of it...)

Orange and Brown fan blades quilt

This was a class I took a long time ago in a (now) defunct store. The teacher refused to give us handouts or let us write anything down bc "we would steal her intellectual property" So... I didn't remember how to finish this quilt. I let this languish for YEARS. I finally decided to take the squares I had cut out for the class and make a tiled border. I was just tired of having this unfinished project on my plate when I knew it would be well loved at my friend's house. (he loves oranges and browns and golds) So I made up the rest and called it done. I think it turned out beautiful and my friend likes it alot.
