The BBF Quilt -- Bees, Butterflies and Frogs

I was given a huge bag of donated fabric and this print fabric was in the bag. I wanted to highlight the yellows, reds and greens in the print and this design seemed a good way to do it. The pattern idea came from Tony Jacobson with the In Alignment quilt. I hope it helps a child to smile!

three quilts for a friend's granddaughters

My two friends (mother and daughter) and I made three quilts for our friend's granddaughters. I made two disappearing nine patch quilt tops and my friend made the third top. The daughter quilted these quilts on another friend's long arm. The quilts are for a 4 year old, 2 year old, and arriving soon.

My niece is decorating her baby's nursery with pink elephants since she always loved pink elephants as a child. I found really cute double gauze pink elephant fabric that I used with pink cuddle fabric. I made a receiving blanket, two bibs, and two burp cloths.
