    I absolutely love this flannel fabric. I bought this piece to see if I liked working with it and it was a hit! I think I'll make a quilt out of 9 of the panels. The lady that does the long arm quilting for me quilted around the pattern, which makes it look even more like applique. This is a very quick project!

    I made the braid table runner using Artisan Batiks - Sorrento Charm Pack by Lunn Studios for Robert Kaufman. I used the 5" Half Hexagon Template to make the braid pieces. I love the pattern, but it is a bit big as a table runner. I think I would make it smaller if I did it again. I actually quilted this myself and did a terrible job. Of course, no one but me probably notices it!
