Quilt of Valor Star
I received some "stash" from a woman who can no longer use a rotary cutter, or sew on a machine, but she can and does hand quilt every week. I wanted to thank her, so I made this quilt for her 91 year old veteran husband, using new fabrics and incorporating some of her stash in the quilt top and back. It was a 'rush' project to make it for a previously planned celebration, so this is the only picture I have. It was hand quilted by a friend.
