I am a quilter and also participate in several of the Virtual Strides Marathons. I love the Bee Healthy Medal. 2 days after I first saw the medal Missouri Star Quilt Co. had a special on Bumble bee fabric. It was so close to the bees on the medal, I had to order it- and made the attached wall hanging to hold my Bee Healthy Medal. It even has little bumble buttons on it for accent.

Totally Tulips

I consider myself a novice quilter as I've only been quilting for about a year. This tulip block was a new challenge for me, and I absolutely love how it turned out! I bought the batik charm pack, as a MSQC Daily Deal, when I first started quilting. It has been sitting in my stash since I bought it, not knowing what I'd use it for. It was perfect for this project!

Tumbler Flag

I just had to make this tumbler flag to use on my porch for all the patriotic holidays. I quilted this project myself, which was a challenge.

My very first quilt

I have had this ambition to give a quilt to my niece, and my children a quilt to use when in college. I took the plunge when my niece graduated from High school. I bought a layer cake and proceeded to make this quilt. Unfortunately, her roommate misplaced this quilt at the end of her sophomore year, sine my neice gad to leave early for an emergency.

Prairie Flower Quilt

This project was on hold for a while because the blocks didn't come out as even as they should have, but I decided not to worry about it and just finish it because my husband really wanted a lap quilt that wasn't in my usual "girlie" color combos! He loves it! I used Jenny's tutorial Prairie Flower, but because I was short of red tonal yardage, I used 2" squares for the snowballed corners and I think 1 3/4 inch strips for sashing.
