    Used a pattern out of Camille Roskelley's Simply Retro called Vintage but scaled it down to 42x42" and instead of making a traditional quilt sandwich with batting and backing, I'm quilting the top on to 4 layers of flannel with straight line quilting a half inch apart to make into a faux chenille. Should be cozy!

    My daughter is a writer, and loves old typewriters and coffee. I made this little wallhanging for her 40th birthday. I used the love notes pattern, and found some "All My Heart" fabric by Clothworks, but tweaked the pattern a bit. It was lots of fun. I found a cute little typewriter at Hallmark store to go with it.
