Big Star

This big star quilt in the yellow and peace which coordinates with my star quilt, was actually going to be the back of the other quilt, but my friends all told me, don't make that the back make into it's own quilt. So I had these two quilts I had to end up buying backing for two quilts. I put one the small star quilt on the bed and I hang the big star quilt on the quilt rack.

Jelly Roll Quilt

This is the first quilt we ever made - got it from the Missouri Star tutorial. It seemed like a rather simple design that we could tackle for our first ever quilt. It worked! Nice design, like the fabric and we learned a great deal about sewing accurate 1/4" seems.

Baskets In The Corner

I didn't really plan on making any basket blocks, but my mother in law wanted to make a basket quilt and she didn't know how to make the basket block. So I made a sample basket block to show her how to make it. Well, then I thought I would make a small wall hanging because I liked the block and I had some fabric I thought would make a nice wall hanging. My mother in law made some blocks for a small quilt.
