School colors Binding Tool Star

I saw Jenny's tutorial and wanted to make one to fit my room. This block goes together very quickly and easily. I pressed the block after it was all sewed up. It didn't "stretch" as much when I did it that way. The blocks have so many possibilities or looks. I laid mine on the floor in different ways, took pictures with my camera phone so I could remember what they all looked like, then picked the one I thought was best for me. So, have fun playing! I also laid the color placement different than the tutorial.

Two Grey Bargellos

I really liked this pattern by Susie Weaver. The pattern includes three different designs. I did all three of them (the blue Bargello was posted earlier). I liked that you could make the swirl and if you add 8 strips at the end, it will make the checkmark design. I definitely preferred the checkmark and lightning bolt options.
