This quilt was designed and sewn by my daughter as her first quilt project. She used 4 charm packs I had ordered for her to do a different pattern with, but instead she designed this pattern. She let me quilt it in any style I wished and gave me permission to experiment. I had quilting rulers for my longarm, but hadn't tried to use them. This circle quilting seemed perfect for this style quilt. We are both happy with the results!

Lap Quilt

This quilt will be used as the cover-all prize at the local nursing home bingo. My Aunt has been running bingo for the residents every week, and my goal is to supply her with 'prizes'. I used Jenny's Wonky Star tutorial, but instead of 10 inch squares, I used 5 inch squares. It made a 32" x 36" quilt, perfect size for use with a wheel chair. Pictures are sideways for some reason ;( Hopefully, the "Brighten Up" fabric will brighten someones day!
