When I saw Jenny’s tutorial using the new double wide Dresden ruler, I knew I had to make a quilt with it. Not only did I make my quilt but I taught a class! My quilt is on a shimmery lavender background and will go on my king size bed. I made extra blocks to get the bigger size. The fabric has been in my stash over five years just waiting for the right project. It was perfect for this one.

From Momma with Love

My son is getting married in January 2018. His fiancé is a lovely girl and she's already part of the family. She chose Purple and Grey as their wedding colors so I set out to make them a wedding quilt using those colors. I took on the Giant Dahlia medallion after seeing a great template and non-video tutorial from Mojo Quilt Designs. I haven't started quilting her yet, and truth be told, I'm more than a little scared of all that negative space, but the wedding is 8 months away, so I'd better get started.
