My First Quilt
I joined a class at the age of 50 and this is my first sampler quilt. it cost sooooo much to make. Now I know how to cut fabric, how to buy fabric.... made so many since.x

dresden plate quilt

Sister's Wedding Quilt
When my sister got engaged I decided she needed to have a quilt for her wedding day. Guests at the wedding signed it and wrote special messages for her on it. It was one of the first large quilts that I made. Some of my blocks got a little wonky, but that just makes it extra special :) I also hand embroidered their names, wedding date and an excerpt from Corinthians 13: 4-7

Lattice Quilt (Finished!)
Let's Hope I can get this done by Mother's Day! I started on it months ago and then I get distracted with other projects. I'm using the Lattice Quilt tutorial from MSQC to make it. I even bought the exact same fabric that Jenny used in the video. I even have the same sashing fabric (even though I have yet to make it that far) I had to scour the internet to find it! UPDATE: I got it finished a week before Mother's Day :) She loved it. I had enough fabric to do matching bed runner, pillows and pillow cases.

Geese in a row
Found this pattern in an old magazine and recreated it in fabric as similar as possible to the magazine photo. Just liked the greens and yellows - goes nicely in my kitchen.

Red, White, and Ewes
The quilt was inspired by the images of sheep on the Moda fabric and the historic site where I volunteer. Pennsbury Manor's sheep are a favorite of visitors of all ages. This quilt uses a traditional star pattern for the center madallion and is bordered with pinwheel blocks. The finished size is 58" x 63".

Alter Ego Quillt
This quilt ensemble was made with the following tutorials from MSQC. Alter Ego quilt, Dresden Pillow, and pillow case pattern.. This quilt was machine pieced and sent to a long arm quilter to finish. It was made for my guest room. The fabric used was purchased in 2014 and may not be available anymore. It was the Richmond Reds collection by Barbara Brachman for Moda Fabrícs.
