After seeing the tutorial, I had to try it. I wasn't happy with the result until I added the border and quilting. Then it transformed into a great result!

Little Helper
My 4 year-old granddaughter helped me make this quilt. She chose the colors for the blocks and I sewed them together. she was excited when she saw that it was finished. I'll take it to her on my next visit. I don't know why two of the pics are upside down and sideways but left them for your "viewing pleasure." LOL

Zuzu's Petals Sashed Half Hexi
I found these fat quarters at the Daytona Beach Quilt Show in May 2016. The fabric sang to me. Frond's Zuzu's Petals by Stephanie Brandenburg. Oh I waited for something special to come along and there it was, from Missouri Star Quilt Company, the tutorial for the Sashed Half Hexi!! I'm going to make a tab top hanging and put it in my office right across from my desk so I can look at it every day! How perfect!

Scrappy Trips
My daughter requested a very big scrap quilt. Using scraps of 2 1/2" strips from years worth of projects,I chose a free pattern designed by Bonnie Hunter and can be found on her website quiltville.com. This quilt is 96" x 96" and is more of a bedspread on my daughter's full size bed....just what she wanted. She is thrilled and I'm more than happy with the finished quilt.
