This quilt is for my 12 year old grandson Nate. I found the pattern at All People Quilt and have used it twice. I used fabric from Connecting Threads ...Mirage, which comes in all these colors and more that I didn't use. They are beautiful, deep, Jewel colors and together with the pattern are just right for a boy. I make my grandchildren's quilts large so they can carry them with them through the their lives.

String Fling

UFO #3 finished this year! Twenty three years ago I started this and three other quilts with this fabric for two of my daughters sharing a bedroom. Before I could finish them, they decided they wanted a yellow and blue room. So I put these on hold and went on to other projects. Last year I added extra blocks all the way around to make it fit my bed. Ask them today if they want their quilts! Sorry...it's going on my bed first!

K's Squares quilt

I took a class that "ate my lunch" due to the curves in the pieces. When this class opened, it seemed much easier to accomplish, so I used the fabrics from the first class to complete this quilt. It is backed with the same fabric as the curtains I made for K's bedroom.
