Ella's quilt

I bought fabric this Spring in Paducah for this quilt. I didn't have time to work on this project until a fall retreat. I was able to piece it all together only to find out I used the wrong fabric on the center star. This is the correct completed quilt to be given to my granddaughter for Christmas. MSQC is quilting it now.

This one is for my step son Trevor. He is a bit modern in his style so decided to try a strip quilt. Nothing more modern than black, white and grey. :-) This is my first quilt done with strips and it was a bit harder to design than I expected. Really enjoying this quilting journey that I've taken this year. I'm tying all my first quilts this year like my husband remembers his grandmother doing.
