    I made this baby quilt for some friends expecting their first baby. The father is from India so I found fabric to give the quilt an Indian "flair"! I used the Missouri Star Tutorial on how to do a flange binding! It was fairly easy!

    This cradle was made by my great-grandfather. My daughter use to play with it when she was a child and use it for her dolls. Now I have given it to her for her first child. I made a fitted sheet for it and a small flannel quilt. The back of the quilt has Shannon cuddle on it. Soooo sweet.

    UPDATE: I'm amazed this project has just 1 like. It's much prettier than the picture presents. My first try! Sea themed, for my neighbor who loves the beach. FOCUS EXTERIOR: Vintage textile of Schumacher's COUSTEAU TOILE (coral and fish theme); golden wheat colored fat qtr by COLOR WEAVE P&B TEXTILES. INTERIOR: Teal yardage rec'd as a gift at Christmas 2015; with GOOD COMPANY SCALLOPED BLUE yardage. Mom sewed the button on. (July 2016)
