If you read the story behind the Star Wars quilt I made for my friends, Mark and Valerie, you know that it was mostly for Mark. I felt bad so I made up a table runner for Valerie using fall colors and fabrics that I thought she would like(a friend advised me). I used a pattern I had picked up earlier, Slice Charm Runner pattern by GE Designs. I also used fall themed fabric from JoAnns for backing.

Loose Change Table Runner & Table Topper

After I watched the Tutorial of Jenny & Lynne making this adorable quilt, I had to try it. They made it look so simple. I made my own template and went ahead. It was a lot of fun discovering how a pop of color can change the hole outlook of your quilt. Would I do it again? YES, but I would buy the template next time. (( Your quilt would be more accurate. ))

I made some table toppers for a friend in Autumn colors and wanted to try it in Christmas prints! I used Natalie's friendship braid pattern for the side panels and cut them in half, you end up with little triangles on the edge, which I really like.
