Andy's England Quilt
I used the basic pattern of Grandma Jan's quilt, but instead of 5x5 I used 9x9 HSTs. I kind of made it up as I went along, because I suddenly realised the HSTs would make the centre diamond smaller, so I added the white border. I'm really pleased with the way it came out and my son loves the red, white & blue. I sewed an England patch on the back as he's is a huge football fan - that's soccer to those on the other side of the pond.
