    I loved the tutorial online and knew that it was perfect for my Handmade by Bonnie & Camille jelly roll from Moda. It's my favorite colors of red white and aqua. I even tried something new when quilting it with my walking foot and echoing the squares of prints. It was so much fun to make!

    I made this quilt for Hubby. I saw Sue Bouchard demonstrate this Modern Migration quilt on YouTube, and I fell in love with it. Last year while in Paducah I stopped by Eleanor Burns' shop and saw the pattern and bought it. I had the slate grey fabric laying around that I just couldn't figure out a purpose for and decided to try it with this pattern. I used batiks for the flying geese and it's got a nice soft flannel backing so Hubby can cuddle with it while watching TV.

    This is a free quilt pattern from Bear Creek called "Nordic Playlist" but I call my quilt "Crossroads." It was a very easy quilt using jelly rolls from the Bluebell fabric line by Nancy Gere for Windham Fabrics. Since the Bluebell fabric is no longer available, I had a difficult time finding a suitable border. Then I saw the blue "Secret Garden" fabric in my stash that I had obtained from a yard sale and it seemed to work fine. My daughter loved the Secret Garden border and has since claimed this quilt.

    This quilt I made for my son-in-law with direction from my daughter. He wanted something heavy so I put poly beads between the top and the batting. It was a challenge to sew because it was so heavy. 15 pounds! The pattern is called Strip Twist and is made with two jelly rolls of Woolies Flannel Colors by Bonnie Sullivan.
