Four Patch Star Quilt. Oversize lap size

This was a scrap buster project. Made from left over 2 1/2",5" and 10" squares. I also learned how to use my machine to quilt the top. Made for my best friend from high school who is currently undergoing many medical issues at this time. Her love for purple and music can also be found in several of the squares. The backing was a beautiful piece given to me from her as an error from her purchase on line. She had no idea what to do with this beautiful fabric panel. I saw it as an opportunity to enhance the back of her quilt to be used on both sides. Machine quilting done on this was done as a stitch in the ditch.
