    I am a cat lady. I had 3 cats continually from 1974 until 2015 when my Cali,my cat of 18 years passed across the rainbow bridge. Her passing hurt me to the core and I couldn't imagine ever going thru that pain again. So I don't have a cat now for the first time in 44 years. So to help heal my heart, I decided the safest way to bring a cat back into my life was to create a cat quilt. Combining two of my greatest loves. When I found the MSQC PIns and Paws pattern, I knew it was my safe harbor.

    Started sewing half square triangles with a layer cake of blues and greys mixing in some white and turquoise. Turned them into quarter square triangles. Really just made it up and then took all the squares and played around with placement. I love the colors and it just kind of fell together. Gave it to my son and daughter-in-law
