    I made this Lattice Quilt for my Mom using Peony Passion Tiles, Kona Snow Skinny strips and the LeCafe' Florals blue yardage (backing) and a light pink for the binding. Peonies are her favorite flowers and she is 94. I had it Long Arm quilted at our local quilt shop and I love how it turned out. I used Jenny's tutorial as a guide but used 10" squares instead of 5" squares.

    These three medium sized bags were sewed and quilted from a Camilla Insulated bag pattern by Serendipity Studio. It might make great spring gifts. I selected an assortment of fabrics - batiks, linen and 100 percent cottons for the exterior, inner pockets and the lining of the bags. I also used fusible fleece as a stabilizer. I machine embroidered a hummingbird motif to the front of one of the bags and crafted fabric flowers. With some leftover fabric, I stitched a matching wristlet.

    I made this quilt for my nephew who has graduated as a doctor with a special interest in indigenous health. He LOVES bright colours so the Native Sun charms squares had to be the choice. The lavender and teal solids hopefully blend in nicely. I followed Jenny’s Four Patch Frenzy tutorial but used charm squares instead of layer cakes. The back is pieced using mainly Kaffe Fassett dots, but I also included the teal and lavender solids to tie the front and back together.
