    My dad has always liked westerns. I made a Jacob's Ladder quilt for my dad out of western fabric. I used minky fabric for the backing. It is a very warm quilt to snuggle under. My German Shepherd thought this was her quilt.

    When I found out one of my friends had brain cancer I decided to make her a quilt that she could take to chemo. She was having problems seeing and found aqua a soothing color. This was the first Jacob's ladder quilt that I made. It is now my favorite pattern and this is my favorite quilt that I have made.

    I made this quilt for my husband when I realized that I hadn't made him a quilt yet. My husband loves the outdoors, so when I saw Jenny's attic window tutorial, I knew I was going to make it for my husband. I wanted a bigger quilt so I added leaves and flying geese. I braided thread around the needle as I was sewing to make the leaf stems. I used a scrappy binding. This is the first quilt that I had a longarmer quilt.

    I loved the tutorial for this quilt by Jenny yesterday. I look forward to the MSQC tutorial every week. I had to make this quilt right away. This will be a wedding gift for a friend. I wanted to have smaller borders, so I made four borders. I love the look of the tiny border. I just finished free motion quilting the quilt for a wedding in two days :-)
