Lattice

I made this Lattice Quilt for my Mom using Peony Passion Tiles, Kona Snow Skinny strips and the LeCafe' Florals blue yardage (backing) and a light pink for the binding. Peonies are her favorite flowers and she is 94. I had it Long Arm quilted at our local quilt shop and I love how it turned out. I used Jenny's tutorial as a guide but used 10" squares instead of 5" squares.

Mom's Cross

Bittersweet Briar

Saw this wonderful pattern by Kim Diehl in a magazine article and thought I would try my hand at it. So I tried to make the design on my own and it didn't turn out too badly. After completing the center design and adding the borders I discovered that Kim Diehl's book 'Simple Graces' had the complete pattern and was sitting on my bookshelf! Uffda. All that extra work and I had the pattern the whole time. This quilt was four years in the making. So happy its finished!
