Elaine's Quilt

This was the 3rd quilt I made. I got the pattern online and liked the idea of the large centre piece. I had a lot of pinkish fabrics, so I threw in some green and went to town. I tried some FMQ in the centre square - not exactly a success - and used the backing to make the border.

Mandy's Quilt

Used the same pattern as Grandma Jan's quilt and used these lovely autumnal colours. I used a different wadding, purchased by the meter and unfortunately there was more shrinkage than any of my other quilts. I wasn't pleased but thankfully Mandy loves her quilt.

This was made for a young mom who had a baby. She is such a sweet person and had been through a lot. I just wanted her to feel like she had support from her congregation. I am her pastor's wife.
