I spotted the pattern in my Block Magazine from MSQC. Loved it and made for myself with five inch squares from MSQC and fabric from my stash. The backing is made from pieced flannel. This was before I learned FMQ so I just ran some long wavy channels through as my quilting. By LonelyDoll 9 LIKES | 894 VIEWS Baby Quilt - Pinwheels I used the basic half square triangle to make a pinwheel baby shower gift. By LaurelS 8 LIKES | 673 VIEWS Pecking order I liked the idea of using one charm pack for this quilt. I used Beautiful Basics for the print and Kona white. My local LAQ suggested this design for the quilting and I love how it came out. It was a gift for a co-worker. By LonelyDoll 16 LIKES | 1535 VIEWS Pinwheel baby quilt I found this pattern on Moda. I used a Gingham Girls charm pack. It was my first FMQ attempt, was very nervous at first but ended up relaxing and enjoying the process! By MiaRN 6 LIKES | 893 VIEWS Two Step with a twist Our grandson, Quinn, has always been a little "quirky" so I used the Two Step pattern, "with a twist" to create a unique design just for him. He plays a saxophone and the blues and saxophone go together. By MiaRN 4 LIKES | 802 VIEWS Quick Baby Quilt This is for a friend of mine that likes traditional things. I decided a simple quilt, with 1930's fabric and tied would be perfect. It only takes one charm pack and some for a couple of borders. I did stitch in the ditch a couple of rounds just to strengthen it. By ChristyJ 11 LIKES | 692 VIEWS Brooklyn's Quilt Brooklyn wanted a quilt for her bed in neutral tones. She picked out this fabric and a pattern. By JackieGoosen 5 LIKES | 694 VIEWS Hunter's Star Watched Jenny's tutorial and had to try it. By koskiw 17 LIKES | 1110 VIEWS VMI Jacob's Ladder My daughter's best friend is graduating from Virginia Military Institute (VMI) in a little over a week. I have been making quilts for all of my daughter friends. Her friend requested a Jacob's Ladder quilt (my favorite pattern) in VMI colors (red and yellow). She wanted a queen size quilt. I appliqued the VMI in the center of the quilt. This is my biggest quilt to date (92" x 96"). I just picked it up from the long arm quilter today (Stiches'n Ditches). She did a beautiful job! I finished the binding. I added a new picture of the quilt hanging from a balcony at the recipients wedding reception.
