I wanted to make some blankets for my e pecked Grandson due in February. While not a quilt, I used Jenny's Self Binding Baby Blanket tutorial. Really pleased with the mitred corners. Also used the leftover fabric and some ribbons to make tag gives, which I found in Pinterest. It was my first time using Minky fabric and was happy with the result.

{Quilt #4} Named "Delta Star" since its new home will be in the Mississippi Delta with its newest little resident. I have always wanted to try paper piecing so this was my first attempt at it; an online Craftsy class. Loved the class and the finished baby quilt!

Enjoyed Jenny and Rob's tutorial so I went through my stash and found fabrics that I thought might make a cute skateboard--hope some boy thinks so too!
