I used a pattern from 3-Fabric Quilts by Leni Levenson Wiener. My longarmer did a fabulous job with the daisy quilting. I used scraps to fill in the back, this was the last of my mice fabric. I love those little guys!

Octopus Garden Charms on Point (picnic blanket)

Update: Quilted and bound: I used cuddle Luxe on the back. It's so soft and feels like fur. - I just finished this Charms on Point quilt top for a friends grandson. The nursery theme is aquatic. I love the colors in this Octopus Garden layer cake. I added a pop of purple for the small border.

Octopus Garden MSQC Charms on Point

Update: Finished binding. Used Cuddle Luxe on the back. It's so soft. Feels like fur. - I just finished this MSQC Charms on Point quilt top for a friend's grandchild. I love the colors in this Octopus Garden layer cake. I added a pop of green for the small border. These were leftover 5 inch squares from previous Charms on Point quilt. I love how different borders change the look of a quilt. Previous quilt pictured also. I changed my borders from the tutorial since I like smaller borders.

After 5 years...

I pieced this quite a while ago when I was first learning to quilt...it's pretty rough but I loved the fabric and decided to finish it...we'll use it for a "throw on the floor quilt" for grand babies. It's also dachshund approved :-)

Aiden's quilt

This is a cute pattern called Giddyup. The pattern makes a queen sized quilt but I wanted a baby quilt. I made only six horse blocks and changed the setting a little to accommodate this smaller size. I purchased a couple of fat quarters in fabric that I thought was horse like and rummaged through my stash for the balance of the fabric and the backing. I'm really trying hard to reduce my stash to a more manageable amount.

Outer Limits Twister

This is my first time using a Twister ruler. I call this Outer Limits Twister because the package of ten inch precuts I used are at the outer limits of my comfort zone, for both print size and colors. I struggled working on this one, putting it away multiple times.

Memory T-Shirt Quilt

The receiver of this quilt graduated from the same high school I graduated from in 1982! I tried to mix up the colors and cut different sizes to make it more interesting. One square was left out so I applied it to the back with her mom’s message embroidered on it.
