Star Wars

My grown son LOVES Star Wars. So when I saw this layer cake I knew it was perfect. I cut the 10' squares in half and added 2 1/2" strips to the 2 long sides. Squared them up and sewed them together. I think he will love it.

Fall colors

This was made for a dear friend who decorates with these colors. I had it hanging in my closet for 2 years before I got the nerve to have it quilted. It was one of my first quilt tops and I just didn't feel very good about it. I love the quilting. I think I would use a more neutral thread next time so the quilting was not so dominate.
