Cleo Squares

I made two quilts with one layer cake; this one and a Double Slice. I believe I cut the 10" squares down to 8 1/2" to use the trimmings in the narrow border. I photographed this one among Japanese Irises.

Irish Chain

I used up some scraps from a Jelly Roll of Simply Style to create this Irish Chain. These are my favorite type of quilts - just scraps! I photographed it by the harbor of 99 Islands (Kujukushima) in Sasebo, Japan. The opening credits of 'The Last Samuri' were filmed here!

Sweet Menagerie

I found this pattern on Moda's Bake Shop titled 'Sweet Menagerie' and I absolutely love it! It just uses one Jelly Roll and yardage. I was lucky to get this one photographed among the cherry blossoms (sakura) here in Japan.
