I created the first tote bag after watching Jenny's tutorial. That was in 2012. The bag has been used almost every day since I made it, and it has been washed quite a bit, too, so it was time for a new one. I used the same materials - old jeans, printed denim, and some canvas (for the lining). For both bags, I added a magnetic snap closure. For the new bag, I added some internal packets and practiced my ruler quilting.

Jennifer Throw

I made this for my childhood neighbor who was also my French teacher who is turning 93 later this month. One of her daugthers is putting together a surprise card basket for her from her past students. I decided to make her a small throw. I remember that she use to sew and I loved her lovely flower gardens and remember just a little French. :) The pattern is from Three Times The Charm book - pattern Jennifer. The lap throw is 39 x 47.

Christening Quilt

Bought a charm pack of Bashful Boy and put it with my stash of fabrics. Little did I know then that grandson Matthew was in our future. When it was time for him to be baptized, I put this design together using that charm pack to make this soft and cuddly blanket for him.

Coast to Coast

This is the second quilt I have made; this one was for my 21 year old niece. I love the bright colors in the fabric and was fortunate that the lady who did the long arm quilting on this used variegated thread which had the teals, blues, creams and greens in the quilt itself. I love how it turned out!

Jungle Path
