Disappearing 9 Patch - Couch to Quilt Project
                  I needed a quilt, I had a pattern, project box, and a little motivation.  You do get a charm pack and white fabric for the border included in this kit.  In order to make the Disappearing 9 Patch I needed another charm pack.  I sewed all my 9 patches. Cut them up, Sewed them back together.  Added Sashing.  Added a border.  Now it is time to send it off to MSQC.  I read the directions - OOPS!  I wasn't suppose to make it bigger.  I am calling in the morning to see if I can still have it quilted. I learned something very important - READ DIRECTIONS FIRST BEFORE ANY SEWING PROJECT.  The quilt ended up cute and will make a great gift. U.P.D.A.T.E.: The MSQC staff is excellent at solving problems. Before calling them I was curious at how much it would cost to have it machine quilted.  I put my inches into their calculator, now I had an idea of the actual cost.  During our phone conversation, since it was my error I asked how much more would it cost to have it machine quilted?  The cost was 1/3 the cost of the actual machine quilting cost. {Thank-You}  I offered to include the backing and complete the binding.  I just finished the backing, -  a fat quarter Disappearing 9 patch - 1 block.   Thanks for making it possible to finish this quilt.  I now have my first Christmas Present for 2016.  {I will update pictures when it is finished.} MSQC - is one of the friendliness companies out there. 
2ND UPDATE: WHEW! I just finished the binding and I am off to wrap this gift.  I just love the colors and the flange binding.  The more quilting that you do, your quilting skills do improve. I am updating the pictures.  Thanks and Merry Christmas Everyone.
