    I was at a local quilt shop over a year ago, and I saw a quilt being worked on at the longarm. It was all blacks and these lovely, electric blues. I took a picture, but it was lost on my old phone, so I began trying to find the exact blue. This was not easy. I've looked at every shade of dark blue and came up with a few. I also used some 2.5 inch strips of solids I have left over from other projects. I then cut my yardage into 2.5 inch strips. I used a jelly roll chase pattern and then I added a dark teal border. I started and stopped this several times and recently was down to making a quilt sandwich, quilting and binding, which I made myself do in order to finish up UFO's.

    I made this quilt for my daughter and her husband for their camper. I watched the tutorial on the Illusion Quilt ant I also used the pattern out of the Block Magazine from the Holiday Issue Volume 1 Issue 6. I added a border to the sides with 2 1/2 " strips of the same line to make it wider.

    I saw this tutorial and knew I had to make it. I used Lily &Loom Daisy Delites. I made it for my granddsughter who asked for a quilt to use on the couch. This fabric is all her. It is bright and cheery.nI am goingvto try to quilt it myself. I will add a picture ehen it is finished. I made her quilt using 9 squares so it is a good size for a 4 year old. I made a doll quilt to match today. I folded the back over to make the binding. I had never done this before. It worked really well for this small quilt.

    Saw the tutorial and wanted to make it. Took me a long time to figure out how I wanted to quilt it. Ended up using a curvey x then echo method from one of the Jacquie Gering walking foot classes. It took some time to echo it all in, but it gives a nice kind of wave like movement to the quilt.

    My daughter wanted me to make a quilt for her friend in the Navy, but the "problem" was she had twins.Sew my choices were to make two quilts in the same pattern with different fabrics or two quilts in different patterns using the same fabrics. I used 56 strips from 3 ugly 20 pc strip rolls. The Arkansas Traveler was made using the leftover strips sets from the pinwheel quilt.

    I made this as a baby quilt for my grandson. I used some scraps from my stash and the border was from Simply Colorful II. The back is flannel - grey crisscross. I did meandering free motion to quilt it. I have now added a pic from 2017 of my grandson on the quilt in a park. So great to have it in use. :)
