My Big Beautiful Hourglass Quilt

Okay okay okay ... so I found Jenny and then I saw this tutorial .. couple of years ago ... I made this quilt and I am so happy with it .. I found a local long arm quilter ... and asked him to top stitch it for Me .. okay don't laugh .. I made him use double batting .. so it would be thick and warm ... I later found out .. you are not suppose to do that I guess .. ha ha ha ... also I used extra wide binding .. because I liked the look of it ... I guess you are not suppose to do that either ... oh well ... I have a one of a kind original ... Yay Me.

A Lifetime of Chocolates, an appreciation quilt

When my husband had a heart attack over 300 miles from home, the wonderful admin at the company where I work got plane tickets for me to get me there the same day. She loves chocolate but it doesn't agree with her as it did in her younger days so I gave her chocolates that will agree with and last a lifetime.

Half Hexie Braid

Saw the tutorial on this quilt while I was bedridden with a back injury. Love Love Love the colors! I swore it would be my first project when I could sit and sew again, and it was! Worked on it at my first outing after 4 months of injections and therapy. LOVE the way it turned out!
