Teal Me If He Loves Me or He Loves Me Not

The Utah State Fair Chooses a theme and sells a fat quarter of a specific fabric to be used in the wall quilt. 2019 Theme was Kiss 'n Teal with teal fabric. I titled my quilt "Kiss 'n Teal me If He Loves Me or He Loves Me Not". For the background I chose to use the "Charm Quilt on Point Tutorial" I made the squares 3" instead of 5" to keep within the size parameters. I won a blue ribbon!

Trick or treating around the town

Woodland Creatures baby quilt

The two panels (and the center of the tree) were Row by Row kits in 2016, produced by Cary Quilting Co. I bought them with the intention of putting them together, and they've been hanging out in the to-do pile for a while. A co-worker announced that his wife was having their first child - a girl. I asked, and was told the theme was "woodland creatures." I immediately thought of this. I appliqued everything and put some additional borders on to keep it from being too skinny.I quilted it myself. The couple really liked this gift for their baby.

Summer Fruit Salad

I tried some English paper piecing. This pattern was purchased at a guild meeting and altered to fit my needs. Machine quilting rather than hand piecing. I decided to use some charm squares that had been patiently waiting in a basket and went shopping for a solid ombré fabric at my local quilt shop. It was a fun, quick project and the first to be completed in 2019!

For Good Luck

I’m making wall hangings for my daughter and family for each month. Here is March for St. Patrick’s Day. Best of all it was made from leftovers from another project. I’m getting plenty of practice on drawing. The quilting is simple with heart clovers. You can see on back. This was a fun project.

Christmas Wreath

We found out this year while decorating that our Christmas wreath did not fit properly on our front door. I decided to take the left over fabric from my tree skirt, my double wide dresden ruler, and made one myself. The bow was made using Rob Appell’s bow tie tutorial on YouTube.
