My Niece wanted a signature quilt to use as her guestbook for her wedding.I had so much fun making this quilt for them.She went online and picked out fabrics to match her wedding colors. This was a first for me and it was beautiful. My husband did the Embroidery for the center square with wedding day information. I then quilted it with an all over meander on my Juki sewing machine that is on a Grace frame.

Baby Quilt in Herringbone

I love half square triangles! There is so much you can do with them! I must've laid out my squares in about ten different patterns before deciding on this one. I feel so blessed living among such beautiful flowers as they seem to be the backdrop of many of my photos. This one is no exception, the hydrangeas in Japan are simply amazing.

Mom and Dad Quilt

I made this quilt out of my Mothers clothes and my fathers shirts. It was difficult as there was a lot of stretch. Some of my fathers shirts were very very old and delicate. They are both passed away, so It makes me smile when I think about the times they wore these clothes. I have always wished I would have saved more clothes for this project, but I never thought of making a quilt until many years after their deaths.

Dom's Trains

I chose this train fabric about 3 years ago for a quilt for my oldest grandson. I searched and searched for a pattern that I could use with out cutting up the big trains. I came across the walk about pattern and ordered it from the Grizzly Gulch website. I pieced the top and took it to my favorite quilt shop, A Little Quilt Shop in Waterford MI. It was sent out for quilting service and was back in a week beautifully quilted with construction vehicles as she did not have a train pattern to quilt it with. That is quite all right as he enjoys all types of vehicles.
