Along with quilted kitchen items, I wll be selling the backyard chicken eggs & need a way to incorporate Eggs into Qulting! Jenny's tutorial for orphaned quilt blocks into chicken pin cushions (which are great for propping a recipe card against) was my solution!

Big Star Quilt

Another one down the tube!! Over a year ago I took Jenny Doan's "Big Star" class. It started out to be a table topper, then I thought I should make it long enough to go on the back of my couch. A friend of mine pointed out that if I was going to do that, I needed to add another row so it could hang down the back of the couch so...this is the result. Finally finished it today.

First Quilt

My granddaughters' school had a benefit auction. This was my donation. I loved making it! I had watched Jenny's curved log cabin tutorial, and I was hooked! The fabric was a fat quarter bundle I had purchased on ebay for a few dollars. So happy with how it turned out!

Red Iris Kaleido

This quilt was inspired by this awesome iris fabric! I cut 4-by StackNWhack pieces then built the quilt around them. It was totally unplanned; I just used fabrics from my stash that looked right, and cut the final border to use every last bit of the focal.

Too Muchery I

I saw a quilt in a magazine where the quilter used a strip set to create a strippy quilt like this, and adapted it. I hate to waste fabric, so I did the math to make the best possible use of the strip set. Taken as a whole, it's a bit over the top!
