This interlocking pattern looks like the start of a foot race. All the different teams bunched together, taking off at the same time. Just a thought. 72” x 78” The black is too stark, bold. It overshadows the blue and tan. I had a lot of trouble getting intersections to line up nicely.

IT IS HAND SEWN BY SOMEONE UNKNOWN TO ME BUT RECEIVED IT FROM A ANOTHER QUILTER WHO SAID MAYBE YOU CAN FINISH THIS ONE. SHE DID NOT MAKE IT EITHER OR KNOW WHO DID. IT HAS BEEN GIFTED TO OTHER BUT NOW FINALLY DONE. Hello , I have not posted for over a year. I have been busy getting moved and settled into a retirement home. It was a lot more work than expected. I am finally able to get back to sewing and though this one is not yet complete it will be. It's been tied and just needs binding added now.

A Quilt for Brax

My great nephews are both motor bike enthusiasts and Motor X champions in their age groups, having gained many titles during competitions throughout Western Australia. They live in the north of WA and travel all over the country to meetings and comps. Like all little champions kids can't thrive in any field without the love and wonderful support of their parents. Awesome job Ryan & Siobhan for allowing your boys to ride and thrive. Ride on Brax!!

Flower Boxes

Rhombus cubes again but these are hollow. Arranged to provide lots of secondary patterns. I wanted to have boxes full of flowers but that idea doesn’t come across so well. 80” x 62”

Hodge Podge

The name comes from the chaos of different shades of light gray. Also, after I saw the photo, I noticed there is a pattern in the light gray that I didn’t see while I was putting this together. I guess it can be seen better at a distance. 48” x 79”.

Halo Stars

This is a free pattern. Blocks are huge! 18 inches. It is supposed to have a colored cornerstone in the sashing, but I liked mine without. Then I added a different border. Using up more of my fabric snippets! It is now waiting for me to find a backing. Will repost when it is finished.
