    Oh, goodness, This has been in storage for several years. I finally decided to get it back out and start quilting on it. I thought I would try doing it all by hand. Will see when I get to the borders how I feel then, Ha Ha Ha This is a winter project and it's in progress. The colors aren't true on screen. I'm using 12' boards on my stretcher frame and I almost ran out of room, so this is an extra large king. I used Jan Krentz's instructions for this Lonestar. It is FINISHED!!! 101 X 101 inches

    Recovering from surgery last November I was inspired but a wall hanging from Jordon Fabrics I wanted it to be bright cheerful and full of colours A happy quilt for brighter days. I really loved making it and learned a lot. Rachel was Longarm quilted by a lovely lady in Wales, a long way from Kent where I live but Debbie did an amazing job and I am thrilled with the result. I finished the 400 inches!! of hand binding yesterday I hope you like it

    I love watching Jenny's videos and have made a couple of her quilts. When I saw her "Road Trip." I knew it was a must make. I purchased 10" state flower squares and narrowed my states down to 21. Beginning with my dad's birth state, I selected all of my family's birth states (5), every state where we have lived (7), and the most important states where my children and I have made memories. To top it off I found some abstract state material for my backing. What a treasure of state memories I made. Thank you Missouri Star Quilt Company.

    I love blue colours, so I used Crazier Eight to cut and as facbric Blue Ribbon 10 karat Gems with the help of Essentials Cookie Dough, Bella Solids Black for sepearating the blocks and binding, backing is Wilmington Essentials Blue Ribbon Sticks medium Blue. It took me several days to get all done. Size is finally approx 45 x 65 "

    This is the second quilt that I quilted on my new Amara longarm. I quilted a pattern from Urban Elementz called Denise's Spirals. I was going through the quilt tops that I have to find one that I wanted to quilt next and I found this one. I either bought this one on Esty or from a silent auction, so I don't know the pattern.. I love all the stars. It was 60" x 60" and ended with the flying geese. I wanted a bigger (non square) quilt so I added more borders. It is 80" x 92"

    I was inspired to sew and quilt Stitchers Garden to learn how to use the functions of my sewing machine. My local sewing shop displayed a beautiful sample of one as well as offered it as a BOM class. It proved to be a worthwhile challenge to undertake and complete. I used the fabric line Moon Shadow by Michele D'Amore for Benatex as the backing and in several pieces of the blocks in the top. Then I quilted on my domestic machine using free motion and ruler work.

    For Daughter and family for this Christmas. They love their kitties. The blue is the main top side and the newsprint is the back. I liked the news print, thought it was adorable Bought a yard of each fabric. Was able to get 6 placemats from them. Used some leftover batting for sandwich. Used walking foot to quilt them. Went together quickly.
