This is the last project I believe for our Church Bazaar which we have done for 15 years now. We have lost to many members to illness or death or they have moved. I have moved but still in the area. Sadly I don't get to my sewing machine as I am care taker now of my husband who has alztimers

I made an apron with quilters cotton for my granddaughter for Valentine's Day. She is only two but has been helping in the kitchen lately. I tweeked the pattern a bit and added an extra pocket and towel loop. She loved it!

Fall table coverings

Autumn leave table runner.

This was a donated unfinished item from a quilting member's family. She passed away earlier this year. I finished it with batting a nice back fabric. It will be donated to the church bazaar of which she was member .

Sad

My quilting and all-around friend passed in April. She left behind a huge stash. 13 sewing machines, 50+ UFOs, 200 kits and so much in tools and patterns. I was able to finish a bunch of her quilts and seeing each month as others are finishing up her projects. The sale was a huge traffic jam success. Thank you to all you quilters who support us in more ways than you can count.

Applique and quilted.pillow

I made this for my friends' birthday. She lives on a acreage. and had chickens. They were her pets 4 of them. Some sort of animal possibly a Wessel or fox got in the hen house and killed them. Went to a quilt store and this quilt was hanging up. My husband express interest in the pattern/quilt. After coming home I ordered it online and made it for him. He had total knee replacement surgery so he uses he quilt everyday and night.

Lug Nuts

Assorted browns and this pattern made for a fun quilt. I decided, even though it mean lots of thread breaks, to outline all the circles to really make the lug nuts pop.

Baby Quilts

More in the acquired stash, this packet had two panels and a bunch of coordinating fabrics. I decided to do a log cabin type pattern. Not thinking how big these would get. And one was weird sized so it threw everything off. Sewed them all and assembled only to realize it was now almost a twin bed sized quilt in a baby motif! Not going to happen! So I took the weird sized one and its row partner off. Took them apart and stacked them. Put borders on and called it as I was DONE! Was able to use a lot of the extra fabrics as backing. Stitched in the ditch and outlined the critters. One is bound with grey the other I used the leftover strips cut for the log cabins.

Making a gift special

As my brother-in-law wanted his quilt sewn on Grandma's Singer treadle. I though adding label with the photo and names of the 3 people who owned it before I did would make it more special I did the letters on my embroidery machine.
