    Update: I finished hand binding this quilt. My friend (Patti Hutchins) free motion quilted daisies on this quilt on her long arm. I just finished piecing this Garden Stroll quilt top from American Patchwork and Quilting June 2013. I fell in love with this pattern when I saw it online. I used fabrics in teal, turquoise, aqua, and burgundy through light pink. I added two additional borders to make it queen size. This quilt is for my mother in law. 95" square

    I have so enjoyed Jenny Doan's tutorial of the Quatrefoil, and the fabric that she used, I just had to purchase and make this, as a queen size quilt. Instead of using the 10'' squares, I purchased a daily deal of jelly roll and 2 5'' charms. I was able to figure the pattern using these combinations.

    I made this "RAIL FENCE STAR" quilt our elderly neighbors. She made a comment to me that the quilts she had didn't fit her bed so she threw them out. They will be marrie 69 years this month, November 2017. I was able to get out of her what their favorite colors were which happens they both love blue. I added a bit of purple becaue she liked that also, but I did not put any floral fabric in it so it was masculine for him. I surprised them with it one afternoon and they were so taken aback and appreciative. Needless to say they loved it.
